I know that one. It's quite pleasant. I had a box Lipton of that and drunk it occasionally in addition to my daily tea routine.

I think yorkshire tea is kinda average on the England, it's always in the top two most consumed tea there as far as I know, so it's not a "speciality" (I'm sure they have that kind too, what I drink isn't one). We don't have it in shops here, I order it online or get it from acquaintances who moved to England, in large boxes (the bongs have them even in 1040 bags per box "size"). I prefer it over local teas since it's heftier per bag, has more leaves in them, and I can make more tea (cheaper) which is still tastier than average Lipton black here.

Have to add that I don't buy it in boxes that big. Each box has a cellophane cover and after removal the tea will lose aroma due to the paperbox breathing. I put some bags in a tin, to protect them tho.

Linden is a good pick. But. I drink stuff like mint, lemon balm, nettle, chamomile, not regularly but often enough. Are they really deserved to be called tea?

I don't see a reason as to why they wouldn't, chamomile is also another one of my favourites, I've been drinking it since I was little. From the looks of it I'm not as tea-savvy as you are, I drink it irregularly, whenever I have the occasion, mostly when I catch a cold or when I have insomnia. But maybe I'm going to do it more often now that I've had this discussion, it's been sitting under my nose this entire time, I guess

I brew it in these weird drip bags and it seems I add enough to make it super strong. I actually don't think this is the greatest brew method. The tea I had at home was made via a French press and it had cheaper leaves. Even cafe tea tastes better actually. (it is good but overpriced) Oh well. When I run out of my drip bags I'll try a different method.

I dry and preserve the used teabags, and during summer I chuck a handful into a plastic bottle add water and shove it into the fridge. It sits overnight and later I have a weak iced tea thingy.

You can actually soak normal non-used filter overnight.

Not entirely sure how much time it needs tho. Perhaps an hour is enough, maybe less, mayhaps more.

I don't use this technique as a replacement for my daily tea intake, but in addition. I don't think there's much tein/coffein remains, it just a way to create something mild flavored that is better than plain water but not sugary as soft drinks.
