Congratulations. Try not to end up there again, although it's difficult in some cases. What happened in your life that you managed to end up there? If it's not a secret.

Congrats. Take care you won't return. I don't think the yellow house anywhere in Eastern Europe is much fun.

For years I have had periodic attacks of apathy and depression that I could not control. It was normal for me to be offline for several weeks or months without communicating with anyone. I think this has something to do with my unhappy childhood.

I went to the psychiatric hospital just to prove to my mother that I was not sick and that everything was fine with me.
I was eventually diagnosed with schizotypy lol. I was freaked out by this myself, but that’s how it was. I was discharged with this diagnosis. But after a week of review, an adequate diagnosis of anxiety disorder was made. They prescribed me pills and so I went home lol

Yep but i was there only for a month

>schizotypy (as in the personality disorder)
meme diagnosis that is just a way of saying "this patient is weird and we dont know how to deal with this so we will feed them tranquilizers" (universal way of dealing with anything in psych wards)

>unhappy childhood.
likely to cause cptsd
unresolved psychological trauma unironically damages your nervous system, causes seemingly unprovoked chronic pains, has you live on fight or flight (anxiety) etc etc

I had a friend who went there, if you don’t mind me asking how was it like, my chap did not have a good time over there so I want to know if your experience was any better?
GermanyBernd2025-10-27 06:22:23 · 8mnNo. 350553reply

HungaryBernd2025-10-27 15:22:24 · 8mnNo. 350560reply
Do you have to do any therapy? Or you have to take the pills until you die of old age?

Well they switched to anxiety apparently, so he got a different diagnosis.

Hospitals suck anywhere in Eastern Europe, mental institutions suck even more so. One of the roots of this problem is that can't tell from the patients from the doctors and nurses.
