Me personally I don’t see the point of wearing crocs, they look like the most repulsive shoes you can put on . So like what is Bernd opinion on crocs

I put them on whenever I need to go to the garage or garden. You slip in and out within a second.

I have a pair. They are very comfy. I usually prefer slides because they let more air to my feet.

They look like toys.

They're good if you want to go and take the bins out or get the neighbour's cat to run away so it doesn't shit in your garden, but they're not good everyday shoes. I get blisters if I walk for more than 5 minutes with them if I don't wear socks.

They have tiny nobs massaging my soles. I like that sensation. Got one gifted. But I rather wear socks or nothing at all.
Wear crocs op, that’s your new challenge now.

The director of "Idiocracy" bought a bunch of them for the actors to use in the movie because he thought they were the dumbest shoes he had ever seen, and were perfect for a film about the future where America became collectively stupid. He never imagined they would be popular.

I think that most photos that feature these shoes are meant to be ironical, if I see a realistic photo where a person wears these in a causual everyday scenario I always assume it is a more deeper and smarter attempt at trolling the viewer.

I fear crocks would bite me feet off.

I thought you'd wear sandals with white socks.

The classic Crocks look shitty, but they also have some more eyefriendly esthetic models.

Last week Bernd has bought 2 pairs of pic1&2-related clogs from other brand, with a more flat and straight continuous sole design. Price had been 3 €.
Today wearing pic3-related clogs, since it's rainy like piss and cold like november outside.

I had an old girlfriend who constantly wore clogs, I wanted to take all her shoes and burn them while she was away at work, I hated them. Never got her to wear proper business pumps.

Why not sandals?
If it is cold, then just wear propper shoes.

Besides Bernd likes the toes protected, Bernd owns some EVA-sandals.

>If it is cold, then just wear propper shoes.

All the proper shoes Bernd has in use are made of web textile (poly mesh, poly knit or synthetic suede) or completely EVA too (with ventilation holes), so they wouldn't be a) not very waterproof and b) not that easy to clean from mud like the closed EVA-clogs.

Open toe shoes are common now due to the mass of Pajeets flooding every corner of the planet. They love exposing their hairy toes.
RussiaBernd2025-09-28 11:57:16 · 9mnNo. 349246reply
They were always common, it is just you got exposed to the outside world and it clashes with weird american culture. It is similar to confusion that american tourists get when they discover that you have to take of your shoes before entering someone's house in any other country on the planet.
Imagine walking in boots in your own house.
