Take the Native Americans for example, a folk culture that evolved. For the first thousand generations not to much changed but when globalization happened it turned there world on it head. Many ideas now replaced with Eurocentric ones founded by Christianity. The old way of the gods, the spirits, and Mother Earth are now gone reduced to nothing but myths. At heart only the tools and ideas change ones that they persevered through never forgotten. They are not extinct, and the changing world never killed them they just evolved
