As long as you don't push enough pressure on yourself its okay, I was good enough to keep painting and drawing but I wasnt making any money and I had to quit so I could feed my family. Then years flew away and now its just a memory. p.s. show some drawings!

you're right about the lineart, i may change it later, but it's just that the painting and coloring part blocks me

I don't know if you checked it, but boogiepop has some simple style but really good colours, shading and even textures. It reminds me sometimes to Death Note anime shading and lighting. If you didn't see it give it a try, it has some cool ideas that could work on your drawings/coloring.
