in order to change a habit i noticed it is important to hold the thought in your brain manually. you have heard of manual breathing, there is also manual thinking.
 
as often as you can you try to remember this magnificent, beautiful thought.

say it a few times, think about it. just increase the time you hold the thought. you could for example use fantasy to imagine what would happen if you did this. if you know anything about regeneration then you can use that imagery. you can imagine your fingers turning from yellow to pink/white again (or whatever your skincolor was), you can imagine your lung reverting from being black like charcoal to a more brighter color. don't you dare call this woowoo , this is one of the few weapons you have so you might as well try to use it.
 
a practical step you can do to limit smoking is this: count how many you smoke. lets say it is 10. for tomorrow, lay out 9 cigarettes and concentrate again and again not to go over the limit of 9.
 
IF YOU WOULD GO FROM 10 to 0, THAT WOULD BE UNCOMFORTABLE. but from 10 to 9 that is hardly noticable. stay on 9 for a while until you go further down to 8 and so on.
 
the belief that you can do it is half the battle i believe.

The easiest way to stop smoking is to just get so sick for two weeks that you can't smoke. Then you just have to not start against after it.
 
Also you have to replace smoking with another activity. Eg. drinking ans cup of covfefe or koler. This might get uncomfortable at first due to the high caffeine consumption but you can reduce it after a couple of weeks after you've broken the cycle.
Another really good alternative to smoking is doing sports everyday. The endorphins will actually make you feel better than smoking and you will feel appalled by smoking because it reduces your physical performance so much.
 
Not starting against is really easy as long as you don't drink any alcohol. Alcohol will just make your will too weak. So I would suggest to stop drinking alcohol as well.
If you get weak after one or two weeks and you buy a pack is no problem. Smoke a few cigarettes. Try to reflect if this feeling is really worth it. Then destroy all cigarettes in the pack and stop again. Don't keep the pack to tempt you. Throw it away. Even if you do this for one evening once or twice ans month is still way way better than smoking everyday.

when i think i've had too much weed i just run out and not get any more for a few months. i'm doing that once or twice a year. i also do a type of fasting. fasting i believe to be very much a practice of good mental health because it is a fight against yourself. seeing this, how you win this fight against yourself so hard, builds unshakable confidence. it proves to yourself how strong you are and it trains you to respect your own decisions.

after having experimented with meditation, detachment and nervous system exercises i can very much attest that the imagery of turning into super sayan is not fiction. it might not magically give you the strength to punch a crater into a mountain but this feeling, this sensation of your body glowing and the feeling of growing strength that radiates outwards is something i have felt. i'm saying the human nervous system has hidden inside some similar infrastructure with at least some degree of similarity. lol i remember watching the old dragon ball z on tv every evening on the television. very little would happen in an episode (they mostly stood around mean mugging) but i still wanted to watch it. i thought this was valuable information, maybe it was.

i noticed i just relax more and make more creative decisions when i am high on weed. you would not believe how much better i skate and dance when i had just a tiny amount of weed. it just solves some internal roadblock i have otherwise that doesn't let me access my best.
 
i had a friend that smoked weed before i even started and he was talking about this sweet spot. lol he said a lot of dumb shit. he was slightly chubby, maybe bmi 24-26. barely not normal anymore but far from obese. THE MOTHERFUCKER TOLD ME WHEN THERE IS SOMETHING TASTY TO EAT, HE EATS IT WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO STOP AND THEN WAKES UP AFTER HE HAS EATEN IT. i resented him for believing this. anyways, i degress. he was talking about this sweet spot where he had just the tiniest amount of weed and everything would go easier in social situations and now years later i think he was onto something and i would conclude the sweet spot for me is 2 (in words: two) puffs*, two inhalations, that is all that is necessary for me to get the slight weed advantage.

the human body has quite remarkable regenration abilities. if you seek for ways to be more healthy, you would be completely shocked to what is possible. i was banned on kohl for discussing it but lemme tell you this about it even though you didn't ask: when your skin has a lot of pimples that means your body is still healthy enough not to encapsulate the shit. you want the kind of body you have, the one that sends metabolic waste out the pores. because if you can't pee the stuff out and you can't sweat it out, it has to stay in the body and turn into tumors.
