In 2021, our country remained the world leader in exports of blueberries, grapes, asparagus and quinoa, as well as number one in sales of anthracites in Latam and the Caribbean. In addition, it ranked second in shipments of fresh avocados, and other products such as processed squid, canned artichokes, and fresh peeled chestnuts.
Also, Peru remained on the international podium thanks to its successful marketing of fish products such as frozen squid, fan shell. There are also frozen mangoes, wilkings mandarins, whole capsicum and canned hearts of palm.
In view of the aforementioned, our country was placed in fourth place due to the exported volume of fresh mangoes, frozen trout fillets, molded wood and boric acid. Meanwhile, thanks to last year's results, Peru was among the top five exporters of ginger (kion) and palm oil in Latin America and the Caribbean.
