I looked at the Aeron, but people said the seating isn't for everyone (mesh for one and the way it can press on your thighs or whatever) also according to the internet the aeron "punishses you for not sitting properly" and I kind of want to sit not properly here and there

I think you need to have at least two different chairs. That is if you use it for at least for 8 hours every day, otherwise it doesn't really matter.

I bought one with a footrest a couple months ago and wouldn't want a chair without one tbh.
