There's a mattress store in my town that always has a guy waving a sign along the main road to advertise. I find this so bizarre for some reason. It's not like buying a new mattress is an impulse purchase and people driving by would be like "oh yeah I could go for a new mattress right now"

Seems like a pointless and ineffective use of labor. I can't imagine it would actually entice many people to visit the store. Maybe he's a relative of the owner who is just giving the guy a pointless job for the sake of a paycheck. Idk im probably overthinking about this mattress man

Mattress stores have ridiculous margins because most of their product consist only of foam with varying densities and a production cost of tens of bucks. Then they sell it for a couple hundred.
People are willing to pay ridiculous amounts thinking they are investing in their sleep while they overpay several hundred percent.

So even if there is only one person a month that decides to buy his mattress at this store because he remembers that funny road sign guy he sees every day that is enough to pay the bills for that minimum wagie.

The fact that you made a thread about it proves that their strategy is working

You have a point, but wouldn't it be more helpful if someone posted it on a social network? I think it would have more impact

The majority of all jobs are useless, you just need people to be occupied and give them some money they can spend. This is just one of the more obvious ones, that poor guy could be replaced by a pole any day

What do you think are the useful professions or jobs that exist?

Aren’t we all? Yet, his soul is the only place where a man can find peace.

What do you mean? I actually meant the strategy of the mattress shop/guy is not make buyers buy as soon as they see the man with the sign but rather stay in the unconscious because as OP said a matrress is not something you replace every day but when you see you need to replace yours you will remember them. Perhaps you won’t buy there (I am a Jew when it comes to price per quality) but you will remember them. Not to mention the effort to make a thread about it, meaning that there have been thoughts about that.

I think it depends on the country. Here since we have a deficit on infrastructure I would say engineer but there are others that are generally required for example good doctors are always needed.

What are teh strategic implications of not having an adblock
DenmarkBernd2023-01-18 14:18:09 · 3yNo. 249696reply
>having adblock
>not gaming the algorithm by clicking on random stuff online you have no interest towards
>not wasting the algorithm's time by purposefully ignoring all ads and not buying anything despite the ads being personalized towards each person
>he doesn't register himself on random websites and then never use them again, always making sure to check the box where it says that it would send you relevant emails
you're small time, I'm completely abusing the system and there's nothing the globalist jews can do about it

Seems like it was a good advertisement. It stuck to your mind, you felt a need to share it and you keep thinking about it. Just by ypu typing this out you should have noticed how effective that guy was.
