I mainly did strength training in general, used a lot of machines, not much traditional free form "weight lifting".

The last workout I did was two hours long and consisted of like twenty exercises on ten different machines, for my new workout I plan something differently. Half an hour cardio (pic related) and other half some strength training.

Good, I was out one day, but after that I was fine. The "most severe" symptom was loss of taste, which I had for two weeks. Sucked hard.
