Krautchan
Krautchan was a German elitist club that operated from 2007 to 2018 and had an extremely anti-Finnish reputation for no good reason! From the earliest times of Finnish board culture, Finns had tried to improve their prevailing reputation by posting civilized threads on Krautchan, but unfortunately it was often interpreted as spamming.
In particular, Kuvalauta kept an eye out for the lack of visitors to our German friendship board. Several Finns sent ping checking to Krautchan, making sure Krautchan will not crash. In addition, the general opinion was that the more traffic there was to the server, the more webmasters would receive advertising money. Since then, Ylilauta continued the tradition of Kuvalauta by serving samples of Finnish epic memes to Krautchan's international visitors.
tl; dr: Krautchan was already a popular raiding destination since the days of the Kuvalauta, and it was probably done dozens, if not hundreds of times during Finnish board history. The assburger concentrations in Krautchan's more permanent Finnish posters often exceed even the level of Northpole assburgers, which is already quite an achievement.
The forcing of Finnish board culture to Krautchan
In the fall of 2011, (Sergeant Spurdo) Spurdo's heavy forcing began, consisting of massive spurdoraids organized on the Ylialuta that recurred every couple of weeks. The typical reaction of the Krautchans was ragesagehiding and the famous phrase "I'm so sorry you had to see this" made by Finnish KC-posters. The raiders were systematically given a motnhs rangeban; as a result, the next raid could only be held about a few weeks later, when enough old bans had run out.
However, this rude discrimination of the Finns turned as a positive for the Finns as points of sympathy, and in the winter of 2011-2012 the spurdo became an accepted meme in Krautchan. In the spring of 2012, the Ylilauta / int / was opened, where KC-enthusiasts enthusiastic about meme gathered; a few years later, the / int / posters of the Ylialuta and Krautchan were almost completely mixed. Take, for example, the "shitposting frog", a meme developed in Krautchan during 2014, where sad frog is (again) combined with a significant amount of spurdo. sad frog that is perceived as too "Krautchan" for the Ylilauta, however sadfrogs have been fully embraced as part of Krautchan's board culture.
On November 9, 2014, the "proofs" meme went off an explosive growth at Krautchan. The meme parodies the behavior of the Russians, especially in discussions on Ukraine. It is noteworthy how the mass drawing of meme variations with Paint and the flooding coercion took place in accordance with the operating methods of Finnish board culture.
