Last year I started meditating and a lot of the lessons I have been listening to have talked about enlightenment as the goal of meditation. I never really understood what they meant.
Then I rediscovered Frank Yang who claims to have become enlightened and that he has no emotions anymore.
This sounds scary and not desirable. I've also noticed that many people who are really deep into this seem really dull and monotone. I don't want to be like that.
