FinlandPsychedelics vs sufferingBernd2020-12-12 15:05:22 · 6yNo. 105193reply
I'm making this thread again now that this board appears to be shlightly more active

Would you be willing to medicate against trauma or other sufferings with psychedelics? Any narcobernds have experience with this?

I'm a paranoid schizophrenic so psychedelics are a no-no

Sad!
Have you tried CBD, do you find it useful for combatting suffering sand psychosis?

I have tried dried fruit with cbd and it seems to not do much but I do feel calmer

I can't do weed either because of psychosis DDDD:

One of my friends does shrooms to help him with PTSD. I've never done psychedelics non-recreationally myself though.

I posted in your other thread too and I want to emphasize that I endorse psychedelics exactly because they improved my life in a meaningful long-term way. The fact that shrooms are considered illegal anywhere, even if sort of decriminalized, is actually inhumane. Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever convinced any of my friends or Bernds/anons to use them as medication against suffering.

Can you describe your before/after experience with them? What kind of improvements did they bring, is the problem resolved pretty much completely?

Psychedelics are very powerful experiences. Definitely have changed my life. But for the time being I want a bit more emotional and mental stability.

But I think world peace would arise from all world leaders dropping a tab of acid, and then three hours later snorting a fat line of ecstasy.

I can't afford my previous 1g a day of cbd

No, not at all. Even the mighty plans I crafted in the confident afterglow of my successful trip didn't last the night's sleep. But everything was so different after. I no longer prevented myself from living life. I hardly ever felt truly depressed since, and all the small things I've done to change my life for the better would make it unlikely for me to now, even though I no longer feel the benefits of an opened mind after all those years passed.
